ONYX TRUPOINT DOCTOR BLADE

The doctor blade is one of the most critical components for Flexographic and Rotogravure printing. It is a highly precise instrument that has an intimate relationship with your engraved cylinders. The 2 pieces work in perfect unison to deliver a predetermined ink film thickness to your substrate. A consistent and uniform ink film thickness is essential in achieving repeatable graphic production within a print run and from one run to the next.

The ONYX TRUPOINT DOCTOR BLADE is engineered to achieve maximum blade life in the most demanding graphic applications where complex screens or process printing are required. This product is ideal for high-end printing and coating applications commonly seen in the wide web flexible packaging, tag & label, and offset coating markets. Customers currently report success using this material on graphics requiring 150 line plates and 800 line anilox rolls.
